#10: Record 36 Students Claim Next Belt In ITL’s First Grading

ITL’s first grading took place on the 21st December 2022. And what a grading it was, with 36 total members rising to the occasion and claiming their next belt.

The number was the largest in both ITL and SVT (Santa Venera Taekwondo) history.

While several members recorded stand-out performances, it was none other than 13-year-old Matt Xiong who emerged as the best performer on the day.

ITL and National Sports School athlete Jean Schembri also achieved his Black Tag belt. The achievement now renders him eligible for his first Poom grading, come summer.

The next ITL grading is set to take place in April 2023.
